A Little Note About Our Wonderful Students (Especially Our Seniors!)
Hello everyone,
As the days grow longer and the school year gently winds towards its close, my heart swells with pride for all our students, each navigating their unique journeys with such grace and energy. I wanted to take a moment to share some important updates, especially for our cherished seniors who are on the cusp of a new and exciting chapter.
To Our Marvellous Seniors:
My dears,if you have already paid, those beautiful stoles and commemorative shirts you ordered have arrived safely and are waiting for you in Ms. Askey's office. Please pop by at your convenience to collect them – a tangible reminder of all your hard work and achievements here.
For those of you who didn't purchase but would like to look your absolute best for your senior photos, we have stoles available for you to borrow. Just come and see Ms. Askey, and we'll happily lend you one. And if you've had a change of heart and still wish to purchase a stole and/or shirt, it's not too late! You can find the order forms below. Payments can be made with cash or check to Mr. Rodarte, or conveniently online through SchoolCash. Do not fret though, ALL NESA graduates will walk the stage with a NESA stole, you only need to pay for one if you are keeping it after graduation.
And now, for a truly special moment – Signing Day! If you, our amazing seniors, wish to be recognized for your exciting next steps and your commitment to higher education, please take a moment to fill out the Google Form below. Once you've done that, I'll be in touch to request proof (electronic is totally fine) from you that the college or university has in fact sent you an acceptance letter or email– just a district requirement to ensure we celebrate you accurately! After that, you'll receive a link to Sign Up Genius where you can choose your preferred time to shine on Signing Day. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you and can't wait to celebrate your bright futures!

For our energetic underclassmen who are already thinking ahead to staying active over the summer, we're thrilled to offer our Summer PE program! If you're interested in joining us for some fun and fitness, please fill out the Google Form linked below. You can submit your payment via check or cash to Mr. Rodarte, or conveniently online through SchoolCash. It's a wonderful opportunity to stay healthy and connected during the break.

Step Right Up and Dream a Little Dream! Spotlight on Midsummer Night's Dream
Prepare yourselves for a sprinkle of stardust and a dash of delightful chaos! The talented students of NESA are whisking us away to an enchanted Athenian forest in their upcoming production of William Shakespeare's timeless comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Imagine a world where mischievous fairies play tricks on unsuspecting mortals, where love takes a topsy-turvy turn thanks to a potent flower, and where a humble weaver finds himself sporting a rather unexpected set of ears! This beloved play is a whirlwind of mistaken identities, hilarious mishaps, and the enduring power of imagination.
Our young actors have been working tirelessly, transforming into spritely Puck, the regal Oberon and Titania, the hopelessly entangled quartet of lovers, and the hilariously earnest Mechanicals (whose play-within-a-play is a guaranteed giggle-fest!). Get ready to witness moonlit magic, tangled affections, and theatrical tomfoolery that will charm audiences of all ages.
Join us for an evening (or afternoon!) of pure enchantment and support the incredible talent of our NESA students. The curtain rises on:

LEE & ISA BINGO: MAY 1ALL STUDENTS and STAFF are INVITED TO PLAY!Cards will be placed in teacher boxes on Wednesday April 30, 2025 for distribution 1st period on Thursday, May 1st.Students receive a SINGLE card.The “STAFF card” will have “STAFF” written on it.CALLING NUMBERS ~ We will use two forms of communication: Campus intercom system and TEAMS to announce numbers at the end of each class period. The numbers will be placed in the SLIDESHOW. Senior Scholarship Info
Please submit your scholarship offers to the google form in order to get your achievements listed in the graduation program. All verified scholarships will be listed, whether the student has accepted the offer or not. Deadline is May 1st.

Exam Exemptions
ATTENDANCE INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS
The deadline for turning in any documentation for previous absences is Monday, 5/5 at 12:00pm. These are for absences that occurred BEFORE May 5th. Any documentation for previous absences turned in after the 5/5 deadline will not be processed until the exemption window closes on Friday, 5/9 at 4:30pm. Documentation for absences occurring ON 5/5 and/or 5/6 need to be turned in by 5/6 at 12:00pm to ensure that attendance is accurately updated before the exemption window opens on 5/7 at 7:00am.
